You thought I was going to talk about Star Wars, didn't you? I will save that for another post even though its my favorite series of ALL TIME and I could talk about it for hours!
The "Force" or "forces" I am talking about today are Spirituality and Universal Energy, kind of like "The Force" from Star Wars... secretly we are all Jedi!
One thing I have discovered on my spiritual journey is that everyone has a different definition of what spiritual is. According to Google's Dictionary, Spirituality is "The quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul, as opposed to material or physical things". As you can see, this is a very broad definition, and can fit into many different religions or belief systems. While it is a broad definition, it is also specific, in that you value the human experience over products or "stuff". If you dig further into that definition, it means that you understand everyone has everything they need already, contained within themselves, and do not need to go looking for outward sources to fill a void.
As I type, I am more and more convinced that we actually are Spirit Jedi, which is catchy enough to stick!
Now, the other part of our Spirit Jedi "Force" is Universal Energy. So, what does Universal Energy mean exactly? Well, there is no exact definition for it, according to the dictionary, so lets break it down a bit. The word "Universal" can be broken down two ways. The first meaning is "of, affecting, or done by all people or things in the world or in a particular group; applicable to all cases", which is pretty straightforward. The second way is a little more hidden, for that we need to look at the definition of "Universe", which is defined as "all existing matter and space considered as a whole; the cosmos." To finish it off, energy is defined as "the strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity", or the synonym of "force".
Woah, it IS The Force!
In summary, Universal Energy is a force that exists in and influences all matter and space. It is crucial to your spiritual development to understand what it is at its core - that you influence everyone and everything with your energy.
I truly believe the more people awaken, the more we can and will change the world...
